Did you know that sometimes smaller dog breeds live longer than ordinary and large dog breeds, the Dachshund is one, so much so that in 2009, a Dachshund only died at the age of 21, entering the record books.
A Dachshund has a maximum life span of 14 years.
There is no logic and a 100% right explanation for this, leading to the fact that small breed dogs like the Dachshund, are less likely to generate diseases, unlike large dog breeds.
